Nice video, but I wanted Nidhiki to have orange to look more evil, plus to be even more different from Lhikan.

Yeah, people insist on MOCing him with Inika or other design, but sometimes they forget he is of the same generation of Lhikan, hence similar appearance.

And all worth it, it's awesome, I love how you made the silver shoulder pars, the other MOC I had planned had nuva shoulder pads (like Norik), never thought of doing something like that.

I thank you for your kind words. It's indeed a shame that people forget about the look of a proper Mangai when they make him. I only hope this stays true to bith his spider form, and the look of his Mangai brother.

The pads are in fact not my idea, though I wish I could say they were. A guy from flickr provided me with the idea, and I kinda ripped it off.

I does look like a combination of the two, minus the mask, which combines with his scythe gives him a light "Grim Reaper" theme.

Ripoff? I prefer the term "creative assimilation" :P

I did too. And it bothered me that nobody else thought of making him look like a Toa Metru/Mangai like Lhikan. But now, at long last, after a year of planning and looking for and buying rare parts, Toa Mangai Nidhiki is done!
